Ingredients & nutrient coverage
The PrimaMen vitamin and mineral blend
This page goes through the nutrients in PrimaMen one at a time: what each one contributes to a daily diet, and why it sits in a men’s formula. Every entry lists the nutrient, the form we use, and the amount per daily serving.
How to read this list
Name, form, amount
A label is only useful if you can compare it against another label.
Every nutrient below appears in PrimaMen as part of a daily vitamin complex for men, and each one is written out three ways: the nutrient name, the compound form it is bound to in the tablet, and the amount per daily serving. No proprietary blend, no asterisk swallowing a quantity. If a figure is on this page, it is on the label the same way.
Read it top to bottom, or skip ahead to the minerals if that is what you came for. The order follows the label: vitamin A and vitamin C first, the B-complex together, then vitamin D, vitamin E, and the minerals that carry most of the daily nutritional support work.
- Nutrient
- What it is and what it does in a daily diet.
- Form
- The compound the mineral or vitamin is bound to.
- Amount
- Quantity per serving, stated plainly on the label.
The vitamins and what each one carries
Per daily serving
Read this table as the front of the label. The forms and figures are what a daily nutrients for men formula has to declare, and they are the fastest way to tell two products apart without opening either one.
| Vitamin | Form used | Amount per serving | What it contributes to |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vitamin A | Retinyl acetate | stated per label | Normal vision and skin maintenance. Sits at the top of most labels, ours included. |
| Vitamin C | Ascorbic acid | stated per label | Immune function and iron absorption from plant foods, which matters in a rice-and-vegetable diet. |
| B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 | Thiamine, riboflavin, nicotinamide, pantothenate, pyridoxine | stated per label | Normal energy metabolism, and the reason B vitamins cluster in formulas aimed at working adults. |
| B12 | Cyanocobalamin | stated per label | Normal blood formation. Absorption from food tends to decline with age, so B12 keeps its place. |
| Folate | Folic acid | stated per label | Works alongside B12 in normal blood formation and cell division. |
| Vitamin D3 | Cholecalciferol | stated per label | Normal bone and muscle function, and normal calcium utilisation. The one indoor workers most often run short on. |
| Vitamin E | DL-alpha tocopheryl acetate | stated per label | Protection of cells from oxidative stress, alongside the other fat-soluble vitamins. |
Doses follow adult daily intake guidance and are printed per serving on every pack. If your diet already runs on fruit and orange vegetables, the formula tops up rather than replaces what food already gives you.
Zinc, magnesium, selenium and iodine
Minerals are bound to other compounds inside a tablet, and the bound form changes how much of the mineral the body can work with. That is why the table below names the compound instead of writing a bare element. These four are the essential minerals for men that rarely make it into marketing headlines but decide whether a formula is broad or short.
Zinc
zinc oxide
Contributes to normal immune function, skin maintenance and wound healing. Found in meat, shellfish, legumes and seeds, so intake swings widely from table to table. When you compare two men’s vitamin and mineral blend products, the zinc form and quantity are among the quickest differences to spot.
Magnesium
magnesium oxide
Contributes to normal muscle function and to normal energy metabolism, which is why it appears in most complete vitamin formula for men tables rather than as a solo product. Nuts, whole grains and dark leafy greens carry it in food.
Selenium
sodium selenite
Contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and to normal thyroid function. Small quantity, steady job. Seafood, eggs and Brazil nuts are the usual food sources in Indonesia.
Iodine
potassium iodide
Works on the same thyroid job from a different angle. Worth noting because household use of iodised salt varies widely across the country, so a small declared amount in a daily complex makes the intake easier to keep steady.

How we compare men’s daily formulas
Where the blend sits in a week
One line per morning
A blend only matters if it lands in a routine you actually keep. Below is what a PrimaMen week looks like next to the meals that already carry these nutrients, so you can see where food ends and the formula starts. Swipe the strip sideways to move through the days.
Serving size
Compare serving size first. A two-tablet daily dose is not the same as a one-a-day formula, and the label figure only means something per serving.
Nutrient form
Then compare forms. B12 as cyanocobalamin or methylcobalamin, magnesium as oxide or citrate: the compound tells you what is actually in the tablet.
Quantity
Finally compare quantities for the nutrients you care about. Most people can run the whole check in under five minutes once the order is familiar.
Side by side
Reading this list next to another product
Five minutes, three passes, one decision. The comparison page carries the same order as a scoring method you can apply to any label in front of you.
See how formulas compareCompare serving size before anything else +
A two-tablet daily dose carries a different amount per tablet than a one-a-day formula, so a bigger number on one label can mean less per tablet. Put both labels on the same basis first, then the rest of the comparison makes sense.
Check the compound form of each mineral +
Magnesium oxide, magnesium citrate and zinc oxide are not interchangeable entries on a label. Naming the compound is what makes the declared amount honest, and it is usually the line a short formula leaves vague.
Compare quantities for the nutrients you actually track +
You do not need to weigh every figure. Pick the two or three nutrients that matter to your daily nutrition pattern, compare those lines, and let the rest of the table confirm the formula is broad rather than short.
Ask about a specific nutrient +
If one line on this page raises a question — why magnesium oxide rather than another form, or how B12 fits an older age group — write to us at [email protected] and we will answer it against the actual label rather than a general description.

Take the next step in the routine
Ingredients are only half the picture. The other half is when you take them, in which format, and how the needs shift as the years go by. Both guides below pick up where this list ends.
